"الرجل والسلاح  هي مسرحية كوميدية ساخرة للكاتب جورج برنارد شو، تنتقد الرومانسية المثالية للحرب من خلال قصة تقع أحداثها في بلغاريا خلال الحرب البلغارية الصربية. المسرحية تسخر من الأفكار التقليدية للشجاعة والبطولة، وتتابع الشابة البلغارية "راينا" التي تخفي جنديًا صربيًا، فيما يُظهر خطيبها "سيرجيوس" البطل المتوهج نفسه أقل شجاعة واقعيًا، ويتعلم البطلان من خلال هذه التجربة أن الحب الحقيقي يختلف عن الأوهام الرومانسية.

“Arms and the Man” is a satirical comedy play by George Bernard Shaw that criticizes the idealized romantic view of war through a story set in Bulgaria during the Serbo-Bulgarian War. The play mocks traditional notions of courage and heroism, following the young Bulgarian woman Raina, who hides a Serbian soldier. Meanwhile, her fiancé Sergius, the supposed shining hero, proves to be less courageous in reality. Through this experience, both protagonists learn that true love is very different from romantic illusions.
